Ever Heard of a thompson Center 3850?? Black Powder

My dad is looking to buy Muzzleloader from a guy and he claims it is a 3850 by Thomson Center.  I can't find out anything about this, I think the seller has a screw loose. :dunno:  Any one a gun nut thats heard of one of these?
