My advice, dont use one. Although more accurate out to longer distances, much more inhibiting. Buy a bow that is 37"+ axle to axle and shoot with fingers
:bdid: Who makes bows that are 37"+ anymore.  I know a few people do I was joking.  Anyway Ive shot scott releases for the 6or 7 years and never had a problem. 

Hoyt and Bow Tech do. Chuck Adams has taken more book animals than anyone I am aware of and shoots a Hoyt Pro Vantage with fingers.

I shoot with fingers and a release and like the Scott thumb releases. Thinking of going back to fingers. One less piece of equipment to worry about

Before I went traditional and started using a finger tab, I tried two types of releases...a strap on and a plunger type.  The strap on was a bit "in the way", but it worked real well and I shot accurately with it.  The hand-held plunger type, though I shot well with it, for some reason struck my index finger every time I shot, and eventually my finger went numb and took months to heal properly.
