Here is a photo of my first archery elk. called him in to 12 yards had him bugle in my face then shot him!!!

Nothing like a little dink to get you started/hooked on elk. 12 yards eh, couldn't close the deal any closer, had to risk one of those long shots that most of us won't even admit to trying at the range.
Nice elk man, hell of an animal.
