Any shops carry PSE on the west side?
« on: January 31, 2011, 06:47:32 AM »
I'm in the market for a new bow and have read a lot of good things about the PSE Vendetta, but I can't find a bow shop that has one in stock so I can try one out.  Does anyone know of a shop out there (I live in Shohomish) that stocks PSE bows?

Thanks!

Riverside Archery in Mt. Vernon, go talk to Gary he'll take care of you.  I bought the Vendetta XS for my son in September, great bow.  He's closed on Mondays.  He's got an indoor range so you can shoot the bows your are looking at, we shot a couple and hands down the Vendetta was perfect for my son.

Hmmm, I talked to someone at Riverside Archery the other day and was told that they didn't had only one PSE bow hanging on the wall.  I will call again.

Thanks for the input.

I talked with him on saturday to order a string and I think he said he had a Vendetta XL in the shop but not an XS.

If you want to shoot the XS let me know, I may be able to help.

Excellent!  Thanks!  It appears that I have a trip to Mount Vernon in my near future.  Also, thanks for the offer to shoot a XS - I may just take you up on that offer.

May want to google or check out NockPint in Lynnwood/Shoreline area. Not sure of brands but a decent ship I believe.

Thanks for the replies.  Where, pray tell, is Wholesale Sports?  I'm familiar with the Nock Point, but they don't have much (none that I'm aware of) as far as PSE goes.

It is not that I a die hard PSE guy.  I have just read that the draw cycle on the Vendetta is amazing.  My shoulders are bad so I'm in quest of a bow with an easy draw cycle.  Easy as apposed to smooth.  I have encountered bows that were "silky smooth" or "like butta" - but in reality has a stiff draw cycle.  Stiff but smooth.  I'm looking for smooth and easy.  Thus my search for the Vendetta, which is reputed to have an amazing draw cycle.  I have looked at the draw force curve for the Vendetta, and it looks promising.

Thanks again for your input!

Wholesale Sports locations:

http://us.wholesalesports.com/storefront/locator.ep

...but they only carry the Main Line bows from PSE (Bow Madness models and below).  The Vendetta is in their Pro Series bow line.

If you're looking for a bow with an "amazing" draw cycling and rock solid wall, check out the Athens Accomplice.  Wholesale Sports carries Athens.  And just to be fair there are bows from the other major manufactures that have very nice draw cycles.  Just not as nice as Athens.  :P
