What color is fletching is best? Does it really make a difference when trying to read what kind of hit on an animal you made?

It can really help recover your arrow and tell what kinda hit you got on an animal.

i like a white wrap with two flo green and two flo orange fletchings with a flo orange nock my eyes follow those colors of fletching the best and its easy to tell what kind of blood you have with a white wrap.

My favorites are - Pink, Red, chartreuse (a bright lime green/yellow color).
White on the arrow shaft is hard to see if you miss in the snow (hard to find arrow) but shows up well in many other situations...

I like neon orange and white. On my trad arrows, I like chartreuse, orange and white. Pink is a easy to see color as well.

White wrap. Two pink and one white fletching.
I think anything not black (which I do have on a dozen arrows - kind of dumb and I need to cut them off and replace) is fine. Even then, you could probably figure it out - bubbles, no bubbles, green gut material, dark blood, bright blood, etc. The main problem with black fletching is that they are hard to see in targets and make it a bit harder to find them if they hit the ground.

Thanks for all the input. I want to try a few different combos but wasn't sure where to start. I have been using bright green and yellow. Just not sure if I really like the combo that much.

I've been shooting 3 white for a few years now and that definitely my favorite for hunting
makes it really easy to check for blood on a pass through..
And for 3D its always fun to shoot a solid black or brown fletch along with a dark (or white depending on target) nock, to throw people off

For hunting generally run 2 flo yellow and one white with a white nock. For 3d, 2 black, one dark purple and a black nock.

I like a white wrap, with one white vane and two neon green. Also, a neon green wrap shows up well too. The white is good for reading the hits, the neon green is a little easier to find.

I have the neon green and yellow. Did not think about it at the time I put them on, but there is a lot of stuff out there that is about that same color. I have lost several arrows in the underbrush because I could not see my fletching. I think I am going to go with blaze orange and white next.
