Actually I would rather have Pathfinder stay and clean up the mess that he has created here in Washington.  Remember HE IS THE ONE that trained and funded the bigfoot introduction in the Blues.  Its HIS group that allowed them to get out of control and devestate the elk populations in the Blues and the Colockum.   

The reason I chose the Apache helicopter is in the hopes that one day I can take that training to hunt down the bigfoot populations that have destroyed my once great city known as Ellensburg.     Thinking about how great it was makes me cry almost every day.

I'm sorry that you feel the need to cry about goodole Bigfoot everyday. I do know what you are feeling. The lookout wolf pack did winter right behind the property I hunt off. The kills we found were unbelivalbe.  I hope I get to meet you both one day to talk about the good ole days.
As for afghanistan, I wish no one to have to go there, We dont belong there and our brothers need to be home.Been there done the gulf. It just SUKS all around.

actually, you can hide from an Apache if the conditions are right.  If it is a fairly warm night, you can hide in a space blanket...

Pathfinder you should go to Afghanistan join the Taliban and test that theory out and let us know how it works. 

Tested it when I was with the 101st Pathfinder Company in 1996.  It worked in the summer in Kentucky, don't know if it would have worked as well in cold weather or on barren ground, but we pulled it off on a brushy LZ in July.

Works pretty well on tank thermals to, at least on a warm night in sandy conditions

That might work on the A model Apache.  But the Longbow variant has a much more detailed thermal and night sight system.  It can pick out alot of details.  So unless you had actual physical camoflauge IE grass all around you we would be able to tell that that lump of something is either a lone rock in the middle of a clearing or a person in a thermal blanket.  But you are right thermal sights don't quite work like they are advertised in Hollywood do they.  Such as we can't see through buildings.

On a serious note.  Think about this thread for a minute and how it has progressed, let alone where it started from.  Now pretend you are an outsider looking and cruising for some hunting tips.  I wonder what their thoughts are when they came to this thread??
