Carson City Buck
« on: February 15, 2011, 09:34:56 AM »
Had this in my email today. Who knows whether it's true or not.  :dunno:
Quote
NDOW stated that this buck got into a fight with another buck, which lasted over an hour and was witnessed by several people. He was gored several times and was mortally wounded. The game warden was called to finish him off, and the buck is now in NDOW’s possession. It is hard to believe that a buck that big, and in his prime could be killed by another buck, especially this time of year. Id love to see what the other buck looked like...

Mass, width, trash....he's got everything! I'd like to know if the story is true or not. I'd rather it happen this way than to find out that the buck was poached though I suppose.

What an amazing deer. Not that what happened was great, but I'm glad it's not another picture of a toad that someone poached.
