You can ship it to Mel Doyle, he will do as nice a job as can be done and ship it back to you before your smith even pulls it off the shelf......and Mel will do it for a super fair price. I bet he has any 1400 parts you need in his shop.

I bought a Defensive Edge brake last year from them and had a smith here install it. It didn't seem like it was too much trouble for him to get it done.
