Porpoise??

 At Nisqually this AM, I witnessed a Canada goose doing something I had never seen them do, completely porpoising under the water, then rocketing up out of the water.

ive had a few do that after being shot. can really cover some distance & totally leave a dog. then try going after them with a boat! ive had them totally disapear with no recovery. one buddy told me it was impossable for an air breather to perpusly drown itself and if it did it would float anyway. talked to a guide once and he said they will go to the bottom if not to deep & tangle up in bottom vegitation trying to hide. anyway nice picts & it was probably trying to clean itself
