Its been a few years since I have been coyote hunting and am looking for a new call I do not want to get a electronic call and am looking for something that I can use for coyotes and bears.I am planning on hunting coyotes till bear season opens and then use the call for bears. I have never even seen a bear while out hunting and am planning on trying for them out near oso wich is west of darrington
Is that a distress type call? Will bears come in to distress calls like rabbit or fawn? I thought they just ate berries & stuff so I didnt know how you'd call them in. I am actually thinking about trying some bear hunting next year except I had no idea where in the hell to get a damn huckleberry distress sounding call!
I second that for Rainshadow and RRcalls....I also use store brand "sceery" and "primos".Here is one of RRcalls in use....seemed to work just fine.... This was a 'closed reed' call.bear predator called.MOV
That is an awesome video! What were you filming with, a regular camcorder or a phone? I just got some of those iKam Glasses and they seem to work OK so far...
sceery makes a 3 pack of soft calls that are great..But RR calls or bearmanrick as we know him makes my go to calls..if you haven't been around bears,ya might want to spend some time and get one before calling,or at least before calling in tight quarters..perhaps read some books on bear attacks..if ya don't have your wits about you it can be close and hairy in a hurry, in the right circumstance...I have some guys that will not go calling with me cause they do get close in the areas I call, like 10 to 30 feet, but the rush can hook you or change your mind and possibly your shorts
