I make my own or use a Burnham Brothers C3 for both bears and yotes.
R&R and Rainshadow make great calls and are sponsors here as well as Phelps.
Look them up for great custom calls.

I have some of Ricks calls, and have 2 of Phelps on the the way. Rick makes some killer calls! I would check out his med howler/loud distress. Plenty of volume on it, blows very easy. It has a permanent place on my predator lanyard. But for bear, I still like elec calls. I get to winded on the longer bear and cat stands :chuckle:

I've got a few of Rick's calls and a few of Rainshadow's calls all toned for different sounds. I don't have any Phelps calls but one of these days soon.

I have seen ricks calls and will be ordering one soon just waiting for my next paycheck. I have hunted yotes on the east side and have had alot of luck but have never been able to call them in on the west side.

I dont know about bears but for coyotes I really like the Primos Lil & Big dog calls, Ruffidawg calls, and Jonny Stewart calls, I think my Stewart call is a PC1 or PC8?  :dunno: But it has a rubber button you can bite down on to change the pitch - great for ki-yi and pup whine/distress
I aint superstitious - cuz its bad luck!

Is that a distress type call? Will bears come in to distress calls like rabbit or fawn? I thought they just ate berries & stuff so I didnt know how you'd call them in. I am actually thinking about trying some bear hunting next year except I had no idea where in the hell to get a damn huckleberry distress sounding call!  :chuckle:
