Went coyote hunting saw 3, shot at 2 , missed, 1 ran off.
Saw nearly 75 whitetails today grazing like cattle in the fields in a 3 mile stretch.

Good to hear. We were over in the Sinlahekin last weekend and saw a bunch of deer from just north Palmer lake all the way back down to hwy 97. They looked good, a few bucks still had antlers as well. If the weather would decide it was spring it would probably help them a bit.

-4 Friday and 23 today. I don't think the deer have it figured out. They were all over the place lying in the sun and eating.

To hunt and butcher an animal is to recognize that meat is not some abstract form of protein that springs into existence tightly wrapped in cellophane and styrofoam.
