Well, just got 4 brand new pots and riggin'.  I'm going to give it another whirl on Friday and maybe Saturday.  I dare those massengills to swipe em now!!  I have my id burned into my buoys and name tags woven into the pots.  If someone does happen to sneak them out from under me, it will take them a while to get all of the identifying marks off of them!  Haahaaaaa!!!!!!!

 I'll be out Saturday starting around 10AM. Not sure where I'm launching yet, but likely around Oly.. Tides will be huge, better weigh 'em down!! They've been nailing some fish down there too I hear...

 Bear, I can't remember do you run a VHF? If you were out on Saturday I'd give you a shout.

Yep, I always have a vhf of some kind with me.  I'm going to hit Nisqually about an hour before change of tide until a little after on Saturday.  I am thinking about dropping one in over 200' with plenty of weight to see what happens.  I'll let ya know for sure on Friday eve if and when I'll be out.  I will be the only Skeeter on the bay!  Haahaa....  The trim/tilt unit on my  work/crabbin' boat crapped out on me so I will using the sparkley one!

 Ya let me know! With the minus low, I think we'll launch at Zittel's. I'll sit on channel 13 VHF Saturday. Probably try trolling around Devil's head area.

I'll probably launch at Zittles as well.  The last time I launched at John Luhr the tide was so low when I was ready to pull out that it would have been close to 4 hours before I would have enough water.  I ran to my folks in Totten, had my Dad drive me back to pick up my trailer and yanked er' out at Kamilche.  It made for a long day but after having all my pots ripped off, hanging out for several hours more was not an option, especially with 2 little girls on board.

 I"ve launched at Zittles twice, it seems like right at 0' slack tide, there is still plenty of water to launch (I only need 1.5 feet of depth)?
