Forgot to add they bought the last one about 2 years ago.....2002 F250 extended cab long bed 25,000 miles.....$13,000  :yike: Some lady was just looking to get rid of it after her husband passed away, they only used it with their camper.

The 7.3 is bad ass... Most people are just lazy and don't want to drive a stick... The ONLY reason why i hate a stick is stop and go traffic. Mainly because i usse the granny low and every @$$hole jumps in front of me because i leave a space...

asherdad, I've been to a couple diesel forums where they have done exactly that.

I have a friend with a current project of dropping a 5.9 cummins in a 79 Ford. I think he's going to make a puller out of the truck.

Was that second pic down "the bad apple"? I rember seeing a big diesel tractor that had a name like that painted on it a few years back.

I'm on my third Cummins, love them!  Pulled a fifth wheel RV trailer to Salt Lake City and back 2 weeks ago, hardly noticed the extra weight back there.  By a manual transmission though.
And I think God must be a cowboy at heart

He made grass and trees and mountains and a horse to be a friend
And trails to lead ol' cowboys home again
