Looking around for a new pistol and came across the Micro Desert Eagle. Anybody have any experience with them?

50% of everyone I've ever known that's owned a Desert Eagle of any sort, have been unhappy with them. They're all picky on what ammo they'll feed/shoot.

Is that the .380 Auto? They look kinda clunky for a small pistol. I got a Ruger LCP a while back, and surprisingly, it's the gun I like to carry most.

There a good little gun and shoot pretty well but can be hard to hold on it if your hands are big. You cant limp wrist them or they wont feed right which my mother had a problem with tell she held it different. It did bite me once too because of my hands being big enough that the slid caught me when it came back. Its easy to hide and light, looks well built and I bet with time the feeding problem will clear since it was a new gun and we havent had any more feeding problems since that first time.

I have small hands and some of the large grips are not as comfortable for me so smaller is better in this case. I did some reading on them and I think it was this one that said to expect a feeding problem for the first 100 rounds until it's broken in. Then I got to thinking about the safety's on them and am leaning more towards a bersa at this moment. decisions, decisions

Bought one for my wife and she didn't like it. Great little pocket pistol for warm weather carry. Didn't fit her hand right so I will sell it for 275.00 if your interested. She ended up with a ruger sp101 357 mag
