I got lucky and found a couple hunting a few years back. Went back in the spring and found some more on the same hill. then, found more the next hunting season. All these have came within 300 or 400 yards of each other.

Found numbers 38,39 and forty two of them were a small 3x4 set and the other was three point from last year.  They were all on the same trail all within 100 yards of each other.

Dandy specimen of a Blacktail, which I would love to bring home to my house!  Nicely done bwhntr350.

I will get them on here this weekend.  I got two kids in hunters safety Monday Wednesday and Friday with baseball practice for my seven year old on tuesday and Thursday not to mention my oldest sons varsity baseball games mixed in.  Basically I am done looking for the year.  :(

Me and the boy found #'s 49 and 50 today we found a big three five minutes into the day and then walked for three hours with nothing else to show for it.  We stopped at a little spot on the way home and the dog found us one more for the day.

i found 6 blacktail sheds this season. all were 2pts, with one set. 2 of them were pretty decent sized 2pts. i think i have found around 9 total in the last 4 years, strange enough all have been 2pt.

i usually find them in old growth trees that are really opened up under them. and i have never found a single one while actually looking for them.
