I have never hunted bear and decided its about time I start so I put in for the monroe unit but I was just wondering if anyone that has experience calling bears in would be willing to help out someone that has no experience.
I figure that some guys that have experience may not draw and might still want to be a part of the action :dunno:

I would be all for it but my girlfreind has a trip to the oregon dunes planned for us in august :bash: It will be fun riding dirt bikes in the dunes but It means no extra cash to be able to afford a guide :(

Good thing you put in for Monroe... there are no bears left in the Skagit... Bigfoot chased them all down to the Blues.

I did not apply and may have some time to get out. Get back with me after the drawing and we can go from there. Good luck.

if I had a week to take off I would wait until about the first week of may.  That would give you about 2 weeks with a key to do some hunting/scouting and find out where some bears are.  Maybe you could get lucky and shoot one early and not have to take time off.

I'm with D-rock. I've already been out and about looking and learning some areas. If I don't get drawn with my 1 point, even though I'm sure I will, I will gladly keep my eyes peeled and provide scouting updates for the Monroe area.
