Please don't take my post in the wrong way, I was trying to look out for rtspring and offering good advice about simply checking on a few things to save himself any potential for problems.

I think it's great that he wants to help other hunters, I just don't want him to get in any trouble for being a good guy. :twocents:

Wow so how about that Peaches Ridge tag?         Kinda funny with all the talk on hear about the unit.   I have been in the unit during the last 6 archery seasons (without a BB tag) and have not Hardly seen anyone there let alone tag holder.  plenty of bulls but a real lack of ppl willing to get far off the road or behind the gates.  Great news for those who do.   Guide or no guide it's a big area with lots of animals and just getting a tag is a score.  I know my fingers are crossed.  Can't wait  to hear who gets drawn.

Agree, although during the muzzy season we did see a few other people in there.  One guy put a dome tent up in the saddle above your camp right where we located some elk the previous night.  Still have that elk steak in my freezer with your name on it, gotta get it to you for letting me use your camp.  P.S.  I saw a really nice buck back there, may have to find him this summer.

Got our fingers crossed for Bobbi to pull a tag this year.  Can't wait to see her knock a big boy down up there.  The dance she'll do will be better than the one she did in your Dad's field over that spike.  LOL

I've seen Mr. Dome tent up there and yes he parks his world in exact wrong place.  I think I'd rather have him join my camp than blow all those animals out.  Had him pop out of his tent in the dark one time and scare the crap out of the horses.   :bash: :bash: :bash:

First off, RT that is an awsome jester of you. I don't get drawn will you help me with an archery cow  :dunno:

Second, If I do gey drawn, I will be talking to Norse about a guided hunt. His knowledge is very extensive. He lives there, and knows every inch of the area, and not just Peaches either......

And Yoterhunter, he hunts the west side, so i would not worry about him. He is not worthy of a east side bull tag  ;)

It is the exact same area, you and I had talked about this before on here after the season.  I scouted that area where his tent was the night before and there was a big bull in the draw below and a few cows right below where the tent was.  Some people just dont have common sense.

You're a crazy mountain man to be riding horses up there in the dark! Maybe he'll eventually learn, he only stuck around 2 days from what i saw and was gone, left the campfire smoldering as well :bash: I hope Bobbi or you draw a tag this year.  Not sure if you read on here but they were proposing to increase bull permits in peaches this year so maybe it'll be yours or her year to draw.  I may put a trail cam up there this year and see if i can't find that buck, let you know what i come up with for elk, not that you need any help you probably have them all named, just like the acrobatic mice that utlize your camp  :chuckle:

Yep Cougeyes i remember.. And yep there is a nice buck running around in the Peaches. Saw him every year up there except last year. Put a stalk on him 2 years ago and blew it at about 40 yards, Lost his location and blew him out. He had velvet on also.. If its the same buck?? Same area.. I am also looking for that tag... Unless i Get That Clockum First :chuckle: :chuckle:
