I am thinking of heading to Sliver Lake tomorrow and was wondering if anybody knows if Silver Lake is unfrozen yet?

I would imagine it is, but if you need me to I can swing by it on my way home and let you know for sure.  My lake which is just a couple of miles from Silver is ice free.  Just let me know and I'll swing by there tonight.

There must be another Silver Lake on the East side that holds some bass?

That is the right one, i went out yesterday and was able to pick up four smallies.  The biggest one was 2 1/4 lbs.  but it was still fun i let my daughter reel all of them in.  We launched at 1pm and we were off the water by 4pm.  what a beautiful lake.
