New to area, love shed hunting
« on: March 22, 2011, 04:09:49 PM »
So I just recently moved over to Liberty Lake, I am originally from Montana, I know why would I move right?!  Unfortunately this is where I am now so not knowing anywhere I was wondering if anybody was from this area and wouldn't mind giving a few tips on public land to go find some horns, I'm not asking for anybody's honey holes but if anybody had any advice on areas to look it would be greatly appreciated.  Or if anybody doesn't mind a shed hunting partner and his horn hunting dogs to tag a long that would be nice too since the only people I know are the ones I work with and my Fiance! Again any info would be greatly appreciated, I have Thursday off and will hopefully be finding some horns!

Thanks
Tony

Welcome Tony  :hello: I love your second pics, your dog looks like he's saying " Well dad should I pick it up or are you going to put down that damn thing and come get it yourself"   :chuckle:

Welcome aboard  :hello: sorry you had to move away from paradise. You'll probably find a lot of guys here pumping you for Montana info in exchange for WA info.

read the file in Paint resize it to 800 X 600 then save it and attach that file.

Alright here we go, lets see if it works.... Had some real good days, combed over the same area a couple different times and ended up finding some matches on different days...

Hey Tony.  I lived in LL for some time and now in N. Spokane.  Go down to the lake and introduce yourself to Antler Expressions (look him up online).  Fairly big antler furniture and lamp business right in your back yard.  He is a good guy and very personable.  He lives on the road leading to the boat launch and this time of year he will have pickups full of sheds in his driveway stocking up.
It's a TIKKA thing..., you may not understand.

Ya he's my bud, he was really young then, he was only 6 mos I think, he would usually bring deer sheds back but the elk sheds he would go n find n sit by them n try n get my attention... I found more than him last year and we r tied this year, my goal is to beat him!
