Would ya?
« on: March 24, 2011, 01:50:39 PM »
Last archery season, we were covered up with bulls all season long.  Chased this guy around one morning last archery season, got to within 22 yards of him, but let him go.  Would you have taken him?

the area looks just east of the mountains and while there is alot of great bulls over there they are not a every day sight i would have taken him better than eating a big bull tag

Looks like about a 280 bull to me.....   +/-    ...................  which equals dead trophy bull if I have anything to say about it.

Cool video.

Wouldnt have even knocked an arrow on that one for a permit bull. General season there would most definately be an arrow flying through his lungs unless I was hunting a bigger bull.

Tough call.  I'd be on the fence which typically tells me no, don't do it.
He's a smart one too.  When he stopped at the :32 mark he sure didn't hang long nor did he offer up much of a shot either.
