New District Biologist
« on: March 24, 2011, 06:58:28 PM »
Did a search and didn't see this anywhere and if this is old news sorry....

In today's Lewiston Tribune there were 2 paragraphs in the Outdoors section saying that Paul Wik had been selected as the replacement for Pat Fowler.
What's the most dangerous thing said in the US Navy? -- A Chief Petty Officer saying "Watch this s$%^!!"

"I can imagine no more rewarding a career. And any man who may be asked in this century what he did to make his life worthwhile, I think can respond with a good deal of pride and satisfaction: 'I served in the United States Navy.'"

Does anyone have any knowledge or experience with Mr. Wik? It will be interesting to see how he manages the area. He will definitely have some big shoes to fill.

Very nice guy and seemed to be in it for the animals! I have never met him but have talked to him several times  ;) There is another member that I think knows him a lot better than me.

I have never met the guy but i know he had like 8 years experience as the bio 2 down there.  I'm sure he will do great and he is probably the best person for the job with all his experience in the area and working under Pat Fowler for many years.  Best of luck to him.

I've got experience with Paul and have spoke to him on the phone multiple times. He's a hunter like the rest of us and I'm really looking forward to the future. Paul will do a great job.

Don't fall into the trap. Hunting is-and always will be- about the hunt, the adventure, the views, and time spent with close friends and family. " Ryan Hatfield
