Maybe you saw my reporting about the new system for getting your trapping license. It is going to change so you can get your license at a dealer. Nothing has changed though until the bill passes the legislature which it undoubtedly will.
The anticipated change over will happen on September 1, 2011. Until then you send in your application to Olympia. We have a link to the application on watrappers.com Until September you will get the old style plastic credit card style license and you will save $5.60. WCOs need to get one now but for everyone else apply now and save a couple bucks. You'll have to send in your Trappers Report of Catch to get the license. That'll change also in September. If you forget by then you will get the license but there will be a surcharge.
