"Darkstream Website Design and Hosting" Review
« on: March 27, 2011, 05:19:57 PM »
When Primetime Outdoors decided to have a website built we didn’t know where to turn.  We had some options available; we could buy some books and learn how to write code in html, we could use a “what you see is what you get” (wysiwyg) program or we could pay someone to build one for us.

After doing some research we didn’t want to learn html and there are too many limitations using “wysiwyg” programs.  That left us to find someone to build our website.  We looked around at different website design business and price shopped them.  One day we saw a post that came up on hunting-washington.com from Ed Blackburn “BallisticsNut” offering to help another member with website hosting.  This sparked our interest and we would much rather direct our business to someone else involved in hunting.

After some e-mails were exchanged and a few phone calls, we were on our way to having Ed with Darkstream Website Design and Hosting, design our website.  We discussed the pages we wanted, layout, artwork, look and feel and some other details regarding the functionality of the site and with that information Ed started building the site.

We were able to view the website as it was being built so we could provide feedback and make recommendations.  Ed seemed to go out of his way to give advice and add options into the site that we hadn’t thought of.  He also helped us with registering our domain name and setting up the account.

We were also pleased with Ed’s ability on the graphics and artwork for the site.  We gave him some ideas and examples and he seemed to get them perfect.

Our website has been created without ever having a meeting with Ed.  We have been able to handle everything through e-mail and over the phone.  Overall we are very happy with the work that Darkstream Website Design and Hosting has provided and we recommend them to anyone looking at getting a webpage built.
