Glad to hear some of you are having success.  MA10 has been really slow.  I've been out 7 times and have not even had a bite!  Anyway, I don't think we will reach the quota nearly as soon as last year.  Look at the fish check numbers from this past weekend and compare them to last year at about the same time.  It's going to take awhile to fill the quota at this pace.

Nope, it is the solid mylar on both sides with the green stripe down the middle on one side. Don't know if it has a name.

Same as the Purple Haze just in green, they are the hot ticket in Canada. The tackle shops cant keep the purple in stock. Hotspot makes some great color combos and those UV flashers look like lights in the water.

I used to get custom made flashers from a place in Victoria that closed last year, they worked really well, red army truck. Now I make them myself. Spot on, UV PH is a killer too.

If there's nothing even in the highway, we are in for a long wait. I wouldn't expect consistency in the Sound for another couple weeks.

It looks like less than 1500 kings have been taken in MA 9 and 10 so far. With a 7000 combined quota there still is time.

Landed a nice fat  24-25 pounder in the net today in area 11. Unfortunately it was considered "wild" by the fish and game and I had to let it go. Had one other on for a few, but lost it. They make it hard fishing barbless singles with a jig. Only fished the tide change too, but heard the early morning guys did alright. Other than that, saw a few caught too.

Oh yeah, I'm going to sound like a hypocrite for not snapping a picture, but I forgot my camera.

I picked up a couple of the UV flashers the other day. Didn't get a chance to try em out today. Kinda hard to try them also when the good ol green or red Hot Spot work killer. It was too much fun with the jig rods to let down the rigger's today anyhow.

I heard that if a certain number of fish are taken in 9 (like 4000) they would close 9 and keep the remaining quota for 10. Anyone heard that?
