20 March 2011 anti-water fowl protest in Australia

This latest protest ended up with one protester shot in the face with some shot that ricocheted off the water. Apparently there is no harassment law in Oz to protect hunters. Real sad deal there. Please click on the link to read.

wow I like this part, "Hunters were issued with 23 infringements and protesters were issued with 54 infringements for illegally entering wetlands during prohibited periods, the DSE said." the protesters had around twice the infringements as the hunters, so that's good I guess. Bad deal all around seems the media was pretty biased in this one though they did interview one of the hunters at least

The protesters took wounded birds and " put them out of their misery"
Why couldn't the hunters retrieve the birds and harvest them?
Friggin morons. :bash:
It's not true that I am good for nothing---I can be used as a bad example!!
