carp fishing?

44 lbs is a huge carp...   

We should have Hunting-Washington carp shoot out some time in May.  I think there are lots of folks on here that have archery setup's for shooting carp.  The month of May would be a good time to go if the water warms up a bit.

It's been a long time. But we used to catch them by using  dough bait made out of strawberry pop and wheaties. (mix 'em together and crunch up until desired consistency) ----I kid you not!

I am surprised that the master of carp, with rod and reel has not said anything on this thread. The washington state record holder with a fish of 41.4lbs, caught in 1980 and still standing today. Belongs to a member that most on here know

Nope its still the 41.4lb you can look up freshwater records for washington and see it there.

Yeah no doubt carp are good fighters but I grew up with a bow in my hands and we used to go to Moses L.K and shoot the heck out of them.. either method is alot of fun .....
