RClare1223, Those are some DARK horns.. I love dark horned critters. Is that a Rosie,or just a big dark timber bull?  Nice find! Did the game a fish let you keep'em or did u just leave'em to the critters to chew on?

Ran into this guy when shed hunting. I have wondered if an animal took him down or if he got away from a hunter.

Thanks, one person wrote that it was a 4 point with eye guards but it actually is a 5 point with eye guards. The back tips are buried in the dirt in the picture. I was torn on what pic to show since you can only show one here. I do have a pic from the back side with the tips out of the dirt but you can not see the skull in that one. That picture actually shows the size much better but opted for this one when the wife liked this one better.

No, he didn't drop it when I was watching.  And actually, I'm going to have to withdrawl that pic from the contest, I didn't read the rules apparently!  That pic was from a couple years ago, but it's a pretty cool story.  When I find the rest of the pics associated, I'll start a new thread on it.....

Found this bad-boy turkey hunting the 2011 opener in NE WA, not a typical shed, but I think it is worthy for a cell-phone pic. 5x5 whitey:
