April Walk Challenge
« on: April 11, 2011, 10:26:18 AM »
12 miles so far, well behind my goal but I can still make 100 miles for this month.  Come on, get your butts in gear and help me make this a good start to our fall hunts!!  here is a walking ticker you can copy and past into your signature block in your profile.  Helps keep track and helps keep you motivated.  Good luck!

I'm in,  have been hitting the gym at least 4 -5 times a week and am up to 4 miles on the elliptical and then onto the weights.  16 days till my Alaska Bear hunt and I'm more worried about keeping up with my 24 year old son than out running a bear.   :chuckle: :chuckle:

Bleh.... excuses.

I will be walking about 8 to 10 miles a day in Cle Elum tho' this weekend. Does that count?

I went down to change clothes and the dark clouds were rolling in.  I said to myself I don't care what gets thrown at me today I am walking!!  Came out from changing my clothes and it had begun to snow.  Hah still walking!   :IBCOOL:   Get down the road a little ways and it is snowing sideways and then it begin to thunder and lightning.   :yike:   Holy crap.  I did 5 miles and it was snowing for all it's worth the whole way.  Feel good though!!!

Nice work! Not to be swayed.

I got my butt handed to me this past weekend turkey hunting. I need to get real. Just got back from my 5 mile "lunch break". I don't like getting back to camp(er) so tired I can hardly think about getting up at 4am and doing it all over again. It was a wake up call. Still had a great time tho'...
