New to hunting / buying calls
« on: April 12, 2011, 04:53:45 PM »
Hey, I'm 15 and just got my first small game kill Monday before last, it was was a coyote at about 80 yards I demolished its heart and lungs with a Remington 700 VSSF .223. Ive had hunted upland birds before but that was it and coyote hunting totally did me in-I loved it. Anyways I plan on hunting deer, cougar, bear, and more coyote this year so I wondering if anybody had some good quality spare calls I can buy all I've got in the fund right now is around 20$ but buy the end of this week I'm thinking 40 or 50. Also does anyone know where I can buy a Peninsula game management map that marks non-hunting and hunting land I cant seem find one small enough to carry in my pack. Thanks! :)

Contact Rainshadow1. He is in your area and makes great calls. You can also contact Bearmanric and check out his calls as well.

Congrats on your first coyote and it's always good to hear a young person taking the initiative to go after what they want and not depend on anybody.  Just by your story and what you have mentioned it sounds like you got a good head on your shoulders and good future ahead of you.  Sorry not from your area just thought I would give you a compliment and good luck!
