Any chance that was in unit 346 up the Rock Creek Road?  Saw a freakishly similar buck in there.  One of the biggest 2 points I ever saw.

Has anyone (I guess in other states) ever shot something really freakish just because it was so unusual?  For instance, once in MT, I saw the weirdest looking 2-Point the day before the season started.  I never seen him again though.  This buck had probably 25", very heavy main beams with just small forks at the end.  The kicker though, the spread was maybe 10" or so and the horns went more straight up than forward.  A massive body to go along as well.

A freak elk about got it in NM.  He was in our camp or set up right next to it for about 4 days before the season.  He was a gorgeous NT bull.  I hadn't seen on alive like him and he almost died for it.  He was lucky I was successful the first morning.

I'd say Great candidate for a cull buck.  He may develope into a 3 this year but if he does he will be just legal.  I'm willing to bet that deer is no less than 4 1/2 years old.  He will never amount to anything but freezer meat and an extra cape.
