Turkey Camp or Bust!
« on: April 18, 2011, 09:10:17 PM »
Well with funding from Stickslinger, a Craigslist search and a 4 hour notice I succesfully managed to tow home 2011's "Turkey Chatteau" Stickslinger just had to have it. Hopefully this $800 diamond in the ruff makes the long journey up north :chuckle: Good thing we are leaving bright and early Weds. morn, gives us a whopping about 2 hours to finagle any quirks this bad boy might throw at us :chuckle: Hey, she's a perfect example that beauty isn't just whats on the outside. She's 2' longer than her replacement. The best part is Josh's sleeping quarters has 16" of headroom unlike her little sisters 12" :chuckle: And for those CL fiends who missed out on this gem, sorry... She's sold :chuckle: Not too bad for being born in 1974

I have the same slate, its a great old girl. But anymore I just use my mouth calls because I don't have to move around as much. Then I use my box call to cut threw the wind.

Never been a fan of diaphrams 8) But I like my mouth calls :chuckle:

Bummer. That slate has taken a beating!  I think that is the same one Uncle Buck has. Hooking up some LP to the Chatteau this morning... Cross your fingers :chuckle:
