LIMBSAVER X-COIL
« on: April 20, 2011, 02:40:50 PM »
Almost done getting all the stUff for my bow, got the sights, quiver, and fall away rest. I was checking out front stabilizers at Whole sale sports and Limbsaver has something called and X-Coil. its only like $20 and its kinda squishy compaired to other stabilizers. My bow is a Limbsaver so I kinda like the Idea of using their products, but has anyone had any experience with this stabilizers? or is there maybe someting better?

They are a very good stabilizer for the money and they work well. I have 2 of them on some of my diffrent bows and they work well.

Being that im new to Archery, is price everything? I know the old saying "you get what you pay for" but in the gun world at least thats not always the case. I have seen scopes, bullets, guns, twice the money of others and most of the time all I see is a name, nothing more. is archery the same or am i doomed to a life of $300 for 3 arrow shafts lol?  (exagerating of course)

I put one on my bow but after packing up the mountain every day I am wondering if it is worth the weight ? I haven't shot with out it but am going to do some testing this summer. The short hunting ones don't really do much for balance & I believe that is the most benefit really. Unless you are trying to dampen excessive noise , don't buy one just to get one. I will most likely take mine off. Mike

No the price in this case is great for what you get. It will make a big diffrence in vibration and for the little extra weight it well worth it. If you want to go higher end look at fuse.
