points question
« on: April 30, 2011, 07:11:18 AM »
Last year with the new points system i only put in for the bull section and had 6pts. This year I would like to put in for quality elk and was wondering since I didnt last year will I have any points in that section or did I have to apply last year to get my previous points locked in?

You didn't have to put in to retain the points that were transferred into all your available categories, the only ones that gained a point last year were the ones that you applied for last year and did not get drawn on. Once you have points, the only way to lose than is to be drawn for that category.

Ok so last year they put the points I had on all catagories even tho I didn't apply, so I should have 6pts in quality, and 7 for bull.

After you submit your application at the bottom of the page it will tell you how many points you have for this years drawing, if you have partners it will average out the points after they have signed up.  The last guy to sign up will see what the points average out to be.
“In common with”..... not so much!!

Right now you should have 6 for quality and 7 for bull (this is before you put in).  This year when you apply another point will be added to each category.  So you will have 7 for quality and 8 for bull.
