Great video.  They sure aren't very spooky.  Bet they show a lot more fear this time next year.  Thanks for the post.

I hope I don't see anything like that on my Idaho hunt but it wouldn't surprise me one bit!  :bash:

Nice video and thanks for sharing!  I loved the ending it was great!  You better start the patent process on that new wolf call! :chuckle: :chuckle: :chuckle: :chuckle:

Very cool!! With ALL the wolf talk that goes on on this site, it's nice to actually see some footage. Good job man, now go kill one!

Nice job capturing the video.  I don't see why you acted so surprised to see them though.  Thery're becoming more common of a sight in that neck of the woods than seeing a bull elk.  Sad.

I hate those things! But it's pretty sweet to actually see them. Now somebody has to kill'em

They were the first wolves I've seen in my 4 years over here, was neat to actually lay my eyes on them despite how much I hate them.  I've spent the majority of my time around the Moscow/Deary/Potlatch area though, and while they're around (just saw a lone set of tracks in a shaded draw in the snow while shed hunting the other day as a matter of fact) they don't seem to be as thick as the more mountainous and remote areas.  I guess I really shouldn't have been surprised in that country!

And I was trying to imitate the "whoop" sound I've heard yote guys holler to stop 'em.  In my excitement it came out a little off. . .  :chuckle:

Your  "whoop" sound seemed to work good enough to make a "whop" sound this fall with a tag in your pocket! :chuckle:
