My bro has skagit's tag...saw two this weekend, but no luck.
I went out to monroe bout 2 weeks ago..no sign...I expect they should be movin bout pretty good any day. I want to head back in to check my spots soon, so I can get some footage.

I'll meet you there. I'll park behind your fancy truck..    :chuckle:

Last year with my key I could only get through the first gate at the Scotty rd.  Scotty gets hunted pretty hard the first few weeks of August.  Last year on Aug 1st there was almost a dozen vehicles parked at the gate.

anyone been up by lake rosenger or 5000 road ?????
  Thats mostly where I have been hunting, i have been in on 5000 line.  You can go if I remember about 3.5 mi the the road is washed out its walking from there.

Make sure you look at those maps closely. Unless they made changes to the unit since last year the 41 road isn't in the the unit. The lower part of the road is close to the unit but you would still have to hike through the brush some. Also, not everything behind the Scotty Road gate is in the unit.. My dad had this tag last year and it was a fun hunt.

The year before that there was 3 trucks there...used to be a quiet place
