I am looking to get a peep sight for my .504 Cal Model 97 Whitetail Hunter. I'm thinking I'd like a Williams. I cannot find Whites listed as an option on most of the sites "part finder" tools. How have others solved this problem? I'll give Williams a call later this week and ask them, but I thought I would check here first.
Thanks for the links!I had searched the Williams site, but was not successful. Appreciate it!
I just ordered this:http://www.midwayusa.com/viewProduct/?productNumber=716993I called Williams, got a tech, he said model # 51098 would work on my rifle with the factory tapped holes.
I also ordered a .050 and .150 aperture for kicks. (it comes with a .093). I got the twilight apertures-I am not sure if that will be a good thing, or a bad thing.
I am wondering if my front sight needs to change. Also, I wonder if the red fiber sight on there now will look goofy through the peep...
And thanks for the advice on the 460 grain bullshop bullets. I got to the range a couple weeks back and I am in the process of trying to see if the gun likes 75 or 85 grains of 777 FFg powder better.
