Morrell Six Shooter target
« on: May 17, 2011, 08:59:28 PM »
This thing sucks!!!!
I guess it's ok, since it does a good job stopping my arrows....but geeze, you need a come-along to pull the arrows out.
Now I'm stuck with this thing for a couple years.
I will be going back to "The Block" next time.

anybody recommend anything else?

Dang, wish you would've talked to me about the Morrell first.  They're super inconsistent - and the worst target I've ever had.  In my case, the arrows came out easy - you usually just need to push them out the back.  And then go re-fletch them.  Terrible target.

I have a Block and it was expensive but it's a really good target.  Just get a bag target for shooting field points and it'll last forever.

I have one, it sucks!  I had to take it appart to get my Montec Pre-season's back this weekend.  It's dooable for field points as long as you aren't using the edge targets.  It's a good tri workout when removing arrows.
We could say [Democrats] spend money like drunken Sailors, but that would be unfair to drunken Sailors. It would be unfair, because the Sailors are spending their own money.

Mine has been OK. I keep it in the garage when not in use as a buddy of mine told me if you leave them out and they get wet, it gets even more difficult to get arrows out.

I guess if I had to do it over, I would go with the block target and spend the extra dough. I had an older block that was the layerd foam and that was not that good either.

If I have to dig a broad head out or my practice G5 heads I am gonna be pissed.
