Dang it
« on: May 18, 2011, 03:35:27 PM »
I was checking road conditions for some roads in the St Joe Ranger District in northern ID and my normal road in has 16 feet of snow still covering it and even if I wanted to go the loooong way around 10 miles from where I'm trying to go put a bait in the road has slid away.  No telling when or IF either will be open before the end of June.   :bash:  Boy if I can figure a way to get my bait in there I imagine I'll pretty much have the area to myself.  Anyone want to loan me a helicopter and pilot!!   :chuckle:

I hear ya! I was supposed to hunt the far side of Dworshak this year. The only way to get close is by sled, but then your to far away to the good hunting.

I was planning on taking a horse trip up in the St Joe area but I think I'll wait until July.
Bring a GPS!  It's awkward to have to eat your buddies!
