I live on Lake Mayfield but have never done the tournament.  I think this year a buddy and I are going to do it.

WTH is a split day for?

We've had quite a few folks over the years ask for more hours on the water on Saturday of this tourney so they could get into the better fishing of late afternoon/evening and at the same time, we've had teams say they'd like shorter hours since 10 hours in the boat was too long for them. Since almost everyone that fishes this tourney stays at Mayfield Resort or close, having a split day seemed like the best decision to accomodate eveyone.
We tried it twice before in Cascade Musky Association club tourneys and it worked out great. Everyone gets a mid day break and actually gets to fish longer than our normal tourney day. Plus the morning and evening are much better time slots.
Everyone will be able to dock their boats at Mayfield Resort during this mid day break. The restaurant will be open and so will the store or just take a siesta.
It also gives everyone a chance to BS with each other to see what's working etc.

Sorry about the pic Roger. Never noticed the 'crop job' till now. Our flyer maker must have done it, LOL.
Hope you two can make it. It's the same dates as last year. ................

No one wants to see pics of fat ugly guys anyways. I may look for another partner if Ron can't make it & I'll have to steal his secret lure. He was on fire last year, seemed like everytime I turned around it was FISH ON. If anyone is on the fence about going I'll tell ya the raffle prizes are great. Good times.
