2.5 lbs.  Your hand dwarfs its mouth.  Big largies make your fist look small. :twocents:

take into consideration mtnmuley that I'm in a float tube and took the pic myself there's no way I could make a 2.5 pound bass look that big when I have to have the bass in close enough to fit both her and myself into the picture. Holding her with my left hand and holding the camera with right hand.

How big was it then?  It looked to me like the pic made the fish look bigger than it was, and that is what you were implying by starting the thread.

that largemouth 6.9 pounds. Weighed on a digital scale that has been tested many times and works great. I caught it a couple weeks ago.

Very nice.  It's too bad you didn't have somebody to take a better pic to do that big gal justice.

yeah I was alone that morning. She was a great looking fish. Put up an awesome fight too! I'm hoping to go out tonight and see what's biting.

Yup, can be tricky by yourself. I couldn't even fit this lady in a self portrait and I have longer arms at 6'3". She went 7.1.

lol you aint kidding, I never would have guessed that fish to be over 4 lbs ... ...nice fish, its so hard to tell in pics how big a fish is ...and its not easy to guess weight without a scale....now that i have a scale though i always make a guess and then weigh it to check
