Coyote snare gone wrong....

Buddy of mine who lives in Wyoming sent this pic to me today. This is right by his tree stand that borders a farm field (I had the pleasure of shooting a yote right by here a few years back)...the cliff the deer is hanging on leads down to a small creek where the deer come in and out of...

the doe got caught in a coyote snare, hang em high....

A deer stop on the snare or a jump stick over the set would have prevented that.  That's why trappers ed is important.  Used to go through my whole line in the summer and place jump stiicks and fence good trails.
