Lahontans cut's

Is that Lenore?  I have been thinking about taking PathfinderJR over there to try out his new float tube.  The fishing is usually crap by June, but I figured the sh***y weather would have carried things over a bit into this month...

Yes, Lenore, North of Soap Lake ("Bubble Crick" to the locals).  Another good spot to check out is Nunally Lake, the last of the chain of lakes that dump into the Columbia River.  Donaldson Rainbows, as I recall, and with all the aquatic insect life in the lakes, they get huge.  When it gets hot, early morning and late afternoon/evening is best.  Haven't been there in years,  but it was fun back then.  About a quarter mile walk in, but worth it.

sorry to say guys but the pics are not from Lenore. they are from a different lake with Lahontan's in it. but Lenore is a great lake for them!

Hmmm... Looked like Lenore, with the lava cliffs in the background.  But then, I haven't been back there in years, so my memory is a bit fuzzy.

As I said, those lakes tend to look similar, but the pictures look (to me) like in the first one he is just coming out of the boat launch cove, then a couple at the far end, then ending in the SE corner of the lake I am thinking of...

Probably Jamison Lake off Hwy 2, west of Banks Lake.

I know exactly where that lake is, its the lake ya cant fish from a float tube in,  because snakes think your an island.

Except it is not called Jameson, that is a different lake close to it.

...I mean, there's only one of those in Washington....right...?

I think there's at least one Fish Lake in every county in Washington, isn't there?

DING DING DING!!! I've been fishing that lake for almost 15 years and know it like the back of my hand! you betcha you got that right! Well, I mean, I think you did

Yeah, that was my point... There's a Blue Lake in just about every county too...
