i just talked to backcountry55, he drew unit 16a for elk.  he is jacked about the tag.

That is probably one the best tags in NM. They will not notify you if you don't draw. So if you didn't get an email you probably didnt draw. I struck out for Deer, Elk, and Antelope, and I'm a resident! AAAHHHHH. I called the wife and told her were moving next year to CO :chuckle: :chuckle:
It's not all bad though I'm gonna try to make it home to Spokane for a deer hunt.

36 for my dad, 16a for my buddy, and 16b/22 for me.  ;) if anyone's got any info on those it would be appreciated! It looks as if were gonna be spread a little thin.

I spent 8 days in 36 last year chasing deer. What would you like to know? Please tell me he drew an elk tag there and not a deer tag!

Im jacked for 16a don't know much about it but this is where the homework starts I have drew 51 before anyone get that I van tell you where to go gun hunt! Good luck boys hope you all get some tags in wash. Too

Yes my buddy drew 3 years ago awesome tag make sure you can shoot long range. A lot of bulls very fun hunt get a hold of me I will fill you in congrats!!

pretty sure i drew. checked results just now and it says draw results- elk 2-273 which was my first choice hunt. i guess i better figure out where that is at
