IS this the week?
« on: June 05, 2011, 09:44:58 PM »
We find out who the lucky new sheep, moose, and goat hunters are?  I sure hope some of my buddies get drawn this year, I really hope the draw results come out this week.

Well if it's June 17th, that would be the same as last year. But the deadline was a week earlier this year. So that's why I think the 10th is possible. If they do it in the same time as last year, it will be the 10th. But they may just figure why put it out any sooner than they did last year. I also wonder if Oregon, and possibly other states, might have an affect on when ours gets done. Oregon's draw is also done by Outdoor Central, so maybe their's has to be finished before they do ours.  :dunno:

So why do some think that it will take a week longer to get results out this year?

With the Department closed for business tomorrow it is hard to say if the draw will post tomorrow? It sure would eliminate any mass calls but on the other hand there wouldn't be personnel to post results?

Yeah I don't have real high hopes but I think it's still a possibility. The WDFW doesn't post results anyway, Outdoor Central does it. But the WDFW has to do some sort of verification. Mostly I'm hoping we will at least be able to see the "back door" results tomorrow, even if they aren't official yet. And if you see you are successful in drawing something, you still won't know which hunt you drew. Another reason my hopes aren't high is that Oregon's results aren't out yet, and it seems like theirs always comes out just before ours does.
