Gifford FS Rd 25
« on: June 07, 2011, 08:25:03 AM »
Anyone been down to this area yet? Just wondering if the 25 rd is open and how far. The FS website hasent been updated since early May. I was thinking about heading down next Friday to check it out, but was hoping for a road report first.

My question is with so much snow still on the ground, where do you think the elk are hanging out at right now! It sounds like I wont be able to get out for a while.  Maybe August 30th :chuckle:

There is a lot of timber between here and 3000' ;)   They sure seem to like the green grass growing in the valley now.
