Bow Cases
« on: June 08, 2011, 04:24:20 PM »
Hey guys sorry to bug y’all again but I just had a quick one about bow cases. I have a DZ-32 and I naturally want to protect it from getting beat up. I was looking at a Plano "AW" All-Weather Bow Case; one thing I noticed about a lot of the bow cases is the “exposed” broad head arrows that get held in the lid. Can’t those things get knocked loose and cut all the strings on the bow? And what possible other cases do you recommend and what should I look for?

i have a skb, which does not come with anything but velcro in arrow holders. The reason I bought it was it fit my monster in with out having to take anything off. what I did was bought a small clear tackle box insert and velcro'ed the heck out of it. made a few cuts to hold my t hand style release and put everything in it. I have never had a problem with it coming out of its spot or opening and spilling out my broad heads. It contains 3 broad heads, 3 small game heads,6 field points, a allen wrench set, realease,  a few zip ties and odds and ends.

Don't put broadheads in with your bow case get a separate arrow box for that.  Don't overlook good soft cases.  If you first d the right arrow box sometimes you can get the arrow box to fit in the side compartment of a soft case.

Buy a arrow case for your broadhead arrows.  I know Wholesale Sports and other places sell them for around $15.00 or so.  Even if they're secure in the bow case with your bow, but the heads are exposed, you're asking for trouble with them and your bow string.  Anyway, my  :twocents:

I remember seeing a Primos soft case at Wholesale Sports (Federal Way) that had a long side pocket that was the same shape as an arrow box.  That may be the ticket.  :)
