rest for fobs?

what rests are you guys using that shoot fobs? im picking up a new bow in the new week and plan on shooting fobs this year.

I would also like to know I would like to try them out curently use a whisker biscuit but would like to try out the fobs will any drop away rest work?

i know there is clearence issues with some of the rests. knowing my luck those will be the ones i can afford

well when i get my new bow. i might just have to come steal one of your arrows and see how they shoot. maybe meet and nockpoint or something.

i know im gonna go up there and get a new string made for the bow im getting anyway. gotta have cool pretty colors lol

Anytime.  Most of my arrows are at 28" and 3 are at 27", so we should be good.  As long as I have not broken them all by then.  FOBs hate groups, but I like shooting them.

yeah thats my concern. i love shooting groups. but i guess i can get the block out and setup 5 little bullseyes

I am here, and I can and will assist you. As far as Dropaway/down rests go, as previously stated by
DeKuma, there are many that will work. How they are set up and adjusted can make a difference however. Arrows are important also as FOBs only fit 2 sizes of arrows or knock fittings. Where are you located Bankwalker? If you are reasonably close to Lacey, we could hook up and check out your setup.

Off the subject of FOBS for a second.... I highly recommend Winner's Choice Strings, and yes they come in cool colors too. They are all pre-stretched and will perform as new forever. No stretching, no re-adjusting, etc.

I am certainly not as versed in the FOBs as KillBilly, but as I told you before, I am here to help.  Since you did not make it last night to the Nock, just let me know when you can make it and I will meet you there.

Along with set-up, the nock point is critical for clearance.  I had to set mine on the new bow by trial and error.  Also, tying your rest string to the downward bus cable so it drops fastest.  That part seemed easier then getting the nock set.

Supposed to meet up with Bankwalker in the near future and see how he likes the FOBs.  I have someon my arrows, but do not have any spares left.  Should get an order in to Paul soon..........

I have the spares for demo and also a couple of dozen for sale but you are going the opposite way from me.
