Has anyone ever hunted elk in the 407 unit?

I'm looking at hunting some were up in the northwest part of the state. Any suggestions? thanks

407 probably wouldn't be the best choice for you unless you are a local with a lot of time. It is mostly elk that move in and out of the Nooksack unit. They spend most of their time on private land and are only usually only in the unit for a couple days out of the season. One or two elk are killed every year but it is usually just land owners who catch the herd moving through their property.

GOOD LUCK WITH THAT ONE...I think I could of killed the only lost bull in the unit last year ...on Bow hill.. but I figured if I killed it I would of been the talk of the town so I chased him back a gross the freeway ..... :yike:

Thanks I live local and I think ill go talk with some of the land owners around the area
