I was just wondering how much horn a bull grow from now untill the velvet is shed. Me and the boy found a nice bull yesterday one of the biggest so far this year. I will post a picture later.

Good question, I'll be curious to see what people have to say. My guess is that they will grow quite a bit more though.

I have read that an elk can grow up to 1-2 inches on each antler per day during their peak growth. If they are anything like whitetail the growth starts slowing a month before they shed their velvet.

So how big was the bull compared to the trek bulls? Id like to think that the horn growth should be some what close to them on a nice bull.
